Ein Chiliblüten Projekt

Endlich Chiliblüten, trotzdem wird es wohl keine roten Chilis mehr geben. Ich bin da wenig optimistisch, es ist einfach schon zu kühl nachts und der lange Regen war auch nicht gerade das Lieblingswetter meiner Kleinen. Sind es nicht schöne Blüten?

Die Chiliblütchen haben mich an ein paar Blümchen erinnert, die ich aus einer Shampooflasche ausgeschnitten hatte, um damit eine Tür zu dekorieren. Das ist einfach eine super Beschäftigung für Fernsehabende, die keine Hirnaktivität benötigen. Zugegebenermaßen ist Ausschneiden auch nicht gerade anspruchsvoll, aber wenigstens hält es mich vom Knabbern ab.

Und so geht’s: Einfach aus einer leeren Plastikflasche ein hübsches Motiv ausschneiden und dann auf einen Draht auffädeln. Es geht einfacher, wenn man vorher Löcher mit einem spitzen Gegenstand vorsticht. Mit dünnerem Draht wird es ein schönes Geschenkverpackungsband. Und um eine Flasche gewickelt, wird diese zu einer netten Vase.

A Chili Blossom Project

After weeks of stagnation due to cold and rainy non-chili-gusto weather the chilis showed their first blossoms. Yeaheah! Aren't those delicate little blossoms?

The chili blossoms resemble some flowers I cut from a shampoo bottle to decorate a door. It is a perfect activity while watching a television program that does not require brain. Well, I have to admit cutting-out flowers is not rocket science either. Anyway, it keeps you busy and your hands from evil munchies.

So here is what you do: Find an empty plastic bottle, then cut out any shape you like. To pull trough the wire, punch holes in the plastic first. If you use thin wire it makes a pretty gift decoration. Or you can wrap it around a bottle to get a nice vase.
