Irgendjemand meinte zu mir, dass Hamburg im Winter schrecklich eintönig und deprimierend grau wäre. Das kann ich überhaupt nicht bestätigen. Ich empfinde Hamburg als eine lebhafte und bunte Stadt.
Also habe ich meinen Fotoapparat spazieren geführt und versucht die bunte Seite Hamburgs einzufangen. Als ich zu Hause meine Bilder angeschaut habe, habe ich bemerkt, dass sie sehr türkis-, blau- und weißlastig sind. Scheint, als hätte mir mein persönlicher Farbgeschmack einen Streich gespielt und eine Vorauswahl getroffen.
Aber egal, schließlich heißt mein Blog Turquoise Tepid Teadrop, da darf man das. Ihr müsst eben selbst nach Hamburg kommen und die anderen Farben jagen...
The other day I went out to take some photos of the colourful side of Hamburg. Somebody had called the city a dreadfully grey and ugly place in winter. I could not agree less. I think it is very colourful.
So I took my camera for a walk and searched for pretty things. But when I got home and looked at the pictures I had just taken, I saw turquoise, blue and white everywhere. Seems my mind played me a trick and made a preselection based on my personal likings.
Anyway, Hamburg is a lovely city and you might have to come here and decide for yourself if it is drab or diverse.
